Last June 25, 2016 the worlds no. 1 skin care brand

with the help of Nivea's Skin Firmness Check event at the Mega Fashion Hall.

We must admit that as we grow old we will experience many changes

on our skin especially when it comes with the firmness of skin.

Throughout the day, guests were treated to a fun way of checking the firmness

of their skin through a bungee trampoline, outfitted with high-speed cameras to capture

how the skin moves as they jump.

Using a motion-tracking technology, guests were shown a creative visualization of the skin’s movement to illustrate the firmness of the skin – the less movement, the firmer the skin is.

“Our skin starts losing firmness at age 20, and so NIVEA thought of this creative way to engage younger women and help them realize the need to start achieving and maintaining the skin’s best years. By letting our consumers know about the possible factors and habits that may affect their skin, we are giving them the chance to start achieving their skin’s best years,” says Jamie Sanico, Senior Brand Manager of NIVEA Body.

To further educate women on skin firmness, guests were made to assess their lifestyle through the NIVEA Skin Firmness Habit Check that revealed the habits that influence the skin’s firmness – from lack of sleep, not enough water intake, exposure to UV rays and pollution, smoking and many other factors. Talk about being every woman’s best skin care partner!

PBA courtside reporter Rizza Diaz served as host inviting consumers, media, personalities, and bloggers in attendance to experience the many activities prepared for them by NIVEA. Doctors were stationed to offer tips on protecting and maintaining firm skin while bartenders were serving various skin-firming juices and concoctions. A fitness instructor was also invited to demonstrate how exercise helps in maintaining skin firmness. A ball pool also enabled guests to dive into fun and prizes. Before the high-energy event ended, DJ Callum David spun chill-house music to get the crowd even more pumped.

PLDT SME Nation’s pioneering social media crowd sourcing search for the new generation of entrepreneurs is all set to welcome a new batch of digitally-driven industry game-changers.

#BeTheBoss, in partnership with Rappler, is back for year two as it continues on its mission to recognize excellence in technological innovation and digital integration.

Online nominations are currently ongoing until July 10, 2016 at rappler.com/betheboss. A panel of judges will short list the nominations and choose the top three finalists for each category. The final phase will be the online public voting which will comprise of 40 percent of the finalists’ score.
